PR for TV and Radio

A one-day workshop

PR for TV and Radio

Radio and television offer some of the most powerful opportunities for PR campaigns.  This popular event offers a revealing insight into what works and what doesn’t work in this context.

The session offers a chance to explore the skills of the broadcast interview and shows how to ensure your clients get airtime – and make the most of it.  There’ll also be valuable information about the regulatory environment, product placement, and audience profiles. Plus a chance to try out your own skills in broadcast interview technique.

This course is suitable for everyone working in PR both in-house and in a consultancy. So whether you are seasoned press officer with years of experience or a PR consultancy executive just starting out, this course is for you.

The session will be delivered by Magnus Carter, MCIPR, approved CIPR trainer who has an international reputation for media and crisis communications consultancy and training.  Magnus is an experienced journalist and senior lecturer.

Please book your place as soon as possible as this course is usually over-subscribed

Fee includes tuition, all course materials, refreshments and light lunch.

CIPR Cymru Wales

The CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Cymru Wales is for professional communicators. Our members work across business, industry, PR consultancies and in government, education, health and other public bodies.

The CIPR is UK-wide and offers training and development leading to professional qualifications that are increasingly demanded by employers. We also strive to ensure high standards of professionalism and conduct among our members.
We have recently celebrated not only our 40th anniversary in Wales, but also the granting of chartered status to our organisation - confirming our position as a leading professional body.

A committee of Welsh PR professionals looks after the interests of CIPR members in Wales - organising annual and monthly events; arranging and communicating training and career development opportunities in Wales; providing a voice for the profession in Wales; communicating national CIPR information to the Welsh membership; and working in partnership with Welsh universities on a number of fronts.
